OPEN RADIO CORE2 — obraz systemu 0.4.6 Copyright (c) 2026 Tomasz Fiedoruk — https://fiedoruk.pl ================================================================ [PL] PRZYGOTOWANE 30.10.2026 — JESZCZE NIEOPUBLIKOWANE. Testy obrazów 0.4.6 na urządzeniu pozostają do wykonania. Paczka źródeł i jej odbudowa bajt w bajt pozostają do wykonania. Opublikowanym wydaniem pozostaje 0.4.5. [EN] PREPARED 2026-10-30 — NOT YET PUBLISHED. Hardware testing of the 0.4.6 images remains pending. The source archive and its byte-for-byte rebuild remain pending. The published release remains 0.4.5. [PL] WARUNKI 1. LICENCJA. Wcześniejsze poprawki ICY i dekodera PNG pozostają. Noty copyright i pełne teksty licencji: NOTICES-0-4-6.txt. 2. ŹRÓDŁA (GPL §6d). Przy publikacji dokładne źródła odpowiadające TEJ binarce muszą zostać udostępnione obok niej pod adresem: https://fiedoruk.pl/os/open-radio-0-4-6-corresponding-source.tar.gz Paczka zawiera cięcie kodu wydania, źródła czterech statycznie linkowanych bibliotek w przypiętych commitach, teksty licencji, dokładne wersje toolchainu i procedurę odbudowy. Publiczne repozytorium projektu: https://github.com/fiedoruk/esp32ai-me-open-radio Repozytorium NIE zastępuje źródeł odpowiadających tej binarce; źródłem jest wyłącznie paczka wskazana powyżej. 3. ZNAKI I MARKA. 5. BEZ GWARANCJI. Open Radio 0.4.6 to oprogramowanie hobbystyczne. Dostarczane „TAK JAK JEST”, bez jakiejkolwiek gwarancji, w zakresie dozwolonym prawem (GPL-3.0 §15–17). Katalog bez zmian: 236 stacji. ZNANE OGRANICZENIA: blokada ochronna Wi-Fi (kod 14) nadal daje ok. minuty ciszy; głośnik kostki przerywa co kilka sekund przy wyłączonym głośniku BT. Bez komunikatów głosowych. Odbiór dokładnych bajtów 0.4.6 pozostaje do wykonania. [EN] TERMS (summary) 1. LICENSE. This firmware image bundles Open Radio Core2 project code with third-party components. The binary as a whole is distributed under GNU GPL-3.0-or-later (required by GPL components, including the libmad MP3 decoder in ESP8266Audio). The ESP8266Audio library (GPL-3.0-or-later) is modified in this binary when built, by `firmware/public-candidate/scripts/select_mp3_sources.py` (as of 2026-10-26): the decoder retains partial MP3 input and waits for more; HTTP/ICY reads check for a null pointer to a closed stream. The same script modifies M5GFX (MIT, as of 2026-10-26): converted SPI transfers are capped to reserved DMA buffers, with CPU transfer when reservation is unavailable. Earlier ICY and PNG fixes remain. Copyright notices and full licence texts: NOTICES-0-4-6.txt. 2. SOURCE (GPL §6d). At publication, the exact corresponding source for THIS binary must be made available beside it at: https://fiedoruk.pl/os/open-radio-0-4-6-corresponding-source.tar.gz It contains the release code cut, the sources of the four statically linked libraries at their pinned commits, the licence texts, exact toolchain versions and the rebuild procedure. Public repository: https://github.com/fiedoruk/esp32ai-me-open-radio. The repository does NOT replace this binary's corresponding source; the archive named above is the source. 3. TRADEMARKS. The "Open Radio" name and fiedoruk.pl materials are NOT licensed. Do not offer devices or services under this name without written permission. The only official download source is fiedoruk.pl/os/. 4. RADIO STATIONS. The firmware plays publicly available broadcaster streams as an ordinary listener. Station names, logos and content belong to the broadcasters; no broadcaster logos are included. 5. NO WARRANTY. Open Radio 0.4.6 is hobbyist software, provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind (GPL-3.0 §15–17). Flash at your own risk; flashing overwrites the factory M5Stack firmware (UIFlow), which can be restored with M5Burner. 6. PRIVACY. No accounts, no telemetry, no project cloud. Outbound network traffic includes station streams and address resolution, station-logo downloads and optional NTP. The device does not look up your location or the weather. 7. SENSORS. Supported M5Stack environment modules: CO2L (SCD41), CO2 (SCD40) and ENV Pro (BME688), alone or both through a passive 1-to-3 hub. The device describes the air, never the person; it is NOT a carbon-monoxide or smoke detector and replaces no safety device. 8. TWO FILES, TWO OUTCOMES. `open-radio-0-4-6.bin` is written from 0x0 and ERASES ALL SETTINGS (Wi-Fi, speaker, theme). `open-radio-0-4-6-update.bin` is written at 0x10000 and KEEPS them; it only works on a cube that already runs Open Radio. No OTA — every update needs a cable. 9. WHAT 0.4.6 CHANGES FROM 0.4.5. Nine screen messages (PL/EN) say why the radio is silent. The arduino-esp32 2.x core (commit b25c1b2, ESP-IDF 4.4.8) carries the Bluetooth controller fix for the restart 0.4.5 could hit when a speaker came back after a weak signal. Keeps decoded audio through a drop, holds the Bluetooth speaker until 2 s are queued, no longer freezes the screen waiting for station data, waits out the router's minute after reason 14, calls a switched-off speaker less often, turns the screen by 180° from the motion sensor, asks for RMF servers only for the tiles and keeps logos through an update. Catalogue unchanged: 236 stations. KNOWN LIMITATIONS: a Wi-Fi protection event (reason 14) still means about a minute of silence; the built-in speaker pauses every few seconds with the Bluetooth speaker off. No voice announcements. Hardware acceptance of the exact 0.4.6 bytes remains pending.
