What to buy to start

Three things, and you probably own two of them already. The whole cost is usually just the cubes, roughly 220 zł a pair in Poland, because a power bank and a cable sit in most drawers.

Shopping list

Two cubes, two power banks and a cable

The links lead to the project's partner and the manufacturer. We sell nothing ourselves; you buy straight from them.

  1. CUBE × 2

    M5Stack Unit C6L (SKU U202)

The very cube we test in-house: a factory enclosure, a small screen, two antenna sockets and both antennas in the box. A conversation needs two sides, so plan for two from the start.

    Botland — Poland, 109 zł (19 Aug 2026) M5Stack — rest of the world

  2. POWER

    A power bank with USB-C

One for each home — any you both own. The cube has no battery and lives as long as its power bank; the bigger, the longer. How many hours a given power bank delivers — we have not measured yet, so no number appears here.

  3. CABLE

A USB-C cable that carries data

For the first install and for power. Mind the charge-only cables: with one of those your computer will not see the cube at all.

Paid partnership · Botland is a project partner. You can buy the device anywhere; the system works the same.

We have not found a price comparison for this module outside Poland; check the M5Stack store and your local electronics shops.

The installer is the next step

Plug the cube into a computer with the cable and click — the system installs from this site, free.

Today this list leads to the partner's and the manufacturer's stores. If the community grows, we will come back to the question of a store of our own — exactly as recorded in the project model on the home page.
