Biper is an independent community project run by the provider listed above. It is not an official MeshCore service.
02 / PRIVACY
Privacy notice
In short: this site has no accounts and no ads. Visits are counted without cookies and without identifying anyone — the aggregated counters record only which page was opened, from which country, and whether a system installation succeeded. There is one voluntary form: the newsletter sign-up (an e-mail address with double opt-in), under its own terms at /newsletter. Most of the data that privacy policies usually describe simply never exists here.
Controller. The controller is the service provider listed in the imprint. Contact for all data matters: .
What we actually process
- Technical server logs. The site runs on the servers of our hosting provider — dhosting.pl (our processor). Like every server on the internet, it briefly records technical request data — including the IP address — to keep the service secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs rotate automatically; we build no visit history and no profiles.
What we do not do. We collect no names, e-mail addresses, or phone numbers. We use no cookies or pixels. Visit statistics are counted by Plausible in its cookieless variant; the measurement requests (including the technical IP address, which is not stored in the statistics) go to a service under the skad.click domain, operated on the administrator's behalf: events such as a page view, a system download, or an installation result go into aggregated counters with no personal identifier and no device fingerprint. We do not profile and we sell nothing.
External links. Links leading outside Biper — for example to the official MeshCore map, manufacturer documentation, or a partner's shop — open services that operate under their own privacy rules.
We run no map of our own. The map mock-up came down on 18 August 2026: the site draws no nodes at all — neither real nor illustrative — and fetches nobody else's map in the background. We point at maps the community runs; they open in a new tab and follow their own rules. Should a map of ours ever exist, this notice changes first.
What this site stores on your device
- One setting in browser storage (localStorage):
biper-themefor the light or dark theme. It stays with you and is never transmitted anywhere. The language needs no storage — it follows from the page address (/biper/or/en/biper/). - Beyond the browser's ordinary, automatic cache, the site installs nothing: there is no app, no service worker, and no offline copy.
- To remove the theme setting, clear this site's data in your browser settings.
Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict the processing of your data under Articles 15–18 GDPR, and to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office at uodo.gov.pl. Write to — we reply without undue delay.
Objection. We state this separately because that is required — and fair: you may object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest under Article 21 GDPR. Here, that means the technical logs. Send your objection to ; we will stop unless we can demonstrate an overriding ground — and for simply reading this site, such a ground is hard to imagine.
Changes. A new version of this notice appears on this page with a date. Version of 2026-08-19.

04 / NODE REMOVAL
Remove a node from the Biper map
Biper runs no map today, so there is nothing to remove — and we cannot remove anyone from the maps the community runs, because they are not ours; write to the people who run them. Let us also say plainly what such a channel cannot do: a node’s public key travels in every radio advert, so hashing it is not identity protection — only a way to keep a node from returning to a list. Should a map of ours ever exist, the channel will work like this: send just the node’s 64-character public key to — no name, no account, no explanation. The node disappears with the next map rebuild and goes onto a permanent exclusion list; we store only the key’s hash, so it will not return in later rebuilds. We remove — we do not ask why.

C6L module photographs: Botland shop materials, published from a local copy with the partner's consent (paid partnership, labelled beside the content). The XIAO kit photographs left the site together with that board and are no longer used anywhere.
