KIARA / PRIVACY
Useful protection.
Minimal information.
What the website, the cube and supporting services need are different. Here is the intended boundary, including what still awaits deployment review.
This project website
This website uses cookie-free Plausible on our own server skad.click to measure aggregate visits, downloads and outbound clicks; these are website statistics, not traffic from Kiara devices. Search and the connection illustration run locally without browser storage. The hosting provider may keep ordinary access logs.
The cube
The design keeps configuration and DNS decisions local, without default usage telemetry. DNS activity can be sensitive. Public statistics will not be assembled from private browsing histories.
Certificate service
Preparing and renewing HTTPS needs a public device identity, public key/CSR and certificate metadata. CA and DNS credentials stay with the service operator. This service has not yet been deployed.
VPN provider
The provider and the access network have their own privacy policies. Kiara is not a substitute for choosing a provider you trust. A configuration file can contain a private VPN key and must not be sent to project support.
Newsletter and contact
The optional ESP32AI newsletter is a separate service with its own consent and terms. Contacting the author is voluntary. Never include passwords, private keys, full DNS logs or private network backups in a report.
Partnerships
There are no Proton affiliate tracking links in this package and no claim of an approved Proton partnership. If commercial links are introduced later, they will be visibly identified and this page updated.
